you are the rock,
and i am the sea,
continually,
wearing you down,

a single droplet of rain,
trickles freely down my window pane,
stopping for a few frozen seconds,
as if mapping out its next move.

I hear the sounnd of creaking metal grind.
The rubbing of the wood upon the floor
Sounds of which I shall hear no more.

from its cave

What is love without patience
What is lust without want
What is desire without temptation
What is compassion without empathy.

scan the background. Long moments

spent staring at the Evergreens

A modern day Romeo and Juliet
make unfulfilled promises with
dead kisses and blunted words.
Their arched backs thrust towards
