No man is an angel.
No man is infallible.
Our experiences may be singular
But our story is similar.
...
In my youth, I lived only by reason
Unaware that there is more to life than
what's seen, felt, smelt, heard, or touched.
...
goal, guts, and guidance are the determinants
of one's success. The magnitude of the goal,
the amplitude of the gut, and the clarity of the guide.
But it's the Lord God who elevates the goals,

The place to know the true nature and measure
of a man is not by his popularity, intellect,
religiosity or reputation but in His own Home
and how he deals with those under his care.

Beware of regress and stagnation.
To tread thrice a path you'd
have trodden only but once
Or overstay in one place,

Life is a test. Life is a trust.
Life is a temporary assignment.
And all men are but stewards.

I once asked someone if he'd attend
a program I knew he had been longing
to participate in ever since I knew him.
"I wish the answer was as easy as Yes or No."

The Lord is my Ebeneezer,
this far He has led and
helped me in every need,
This strengthens my confidence, I trust

Here, among these ruins once stood
the throne of dignity, honor, and respect;
full of glory, and flowing with abundance.
The hope of men. A force to reckon with-

Death! Death with its strong claws
makes no sound as it comes.
But with a precision of a sniper;
mindless of height and tide,

I once held the ultimate in my hands and vowed to protect it.
But for a moment, my arms grew cold and I neglected it.
So it gathered cold and died right in my hand asking why
I promised the ultimate and delivered the opposite.

Origin, Identity, morality, and Purpose
are key. Once lost or sold, a person has
very little to offer and nothing left to lose

Hearts faint when the storm rages,
Hopes sublimes when the veil of sense
hangs dark between God and men.

There comes a time when the conviction

With love and friendship,
We have weaved our web of time
And made together our best encounter.
But when our parting time comes, I pray

Despite age, position, and experience,
No one has a monopoly on wisdom
Or the solution to all human problems.
To act omniscient and all-capable is either

We all have crosses we can't but must bear.
But God does not make mistakes,
He does not put burdens on shoulders
too weak to bear them nor give crosses

After many days of battle,
Someday along life's journey,
we'll pause for a while
and take a rest underground.

An apple does not survive a blow
One small bruise and it's dead. So is life.
Precious but delicate, that's what we are.

A Good Soul. A Mighty River.)
Flowers And Heroes.
Flowers have an untold story,
the mistreatment by reckless hands,
the scorching sun, the heavy rains,
and the pests that threaten their demise.
Through it all, flowers can't help but wait
for better days. Eventually, flowers blossom
only to be cut and stacked in beautiful vases
then disposed of the moment they begin to wither.
As it is with flowers so it is with heroes;
Blossoms today and becomes the object of praise
But quickly neglected and their sacrifices soon forgotten
Everything suffers, but flowers and heroes suffer the most.
Of all the heroes; patriots, parents, and spouses
Are often the most sacrificing and often the most
betrayed and most neglected afterward
by those to whom they sacrificed so much.
As much as possible, live accountable
to the hands that formed and sustained thee
and honor the womb that birthed thee
Only then, can you prosper or be blessed indeed.
