The change we desire and all we'll ever see
Is ever one man away - Just one man away.
One man who knows the right way
And wills to lead others that way.

Life is a test. Life is a trust.
Life is a temporary assignment.
And all men are but stewards.
...

The heart faints when the storms of life rage,
Joy sublimes like snow when the window
of sense is closed between God and men.
But misery has a silver lining after the pain
...

The best among men do not drop from heaven.
Nor do they rise from a particular place or race.
Some are born and bred in palaces surrounded by privileges
while others; born in remote villages, schooled in hardships
...

This world was passed down to us
and will continue on, with or without us.
By ourselves, we cannot carry its weight
on our shoulders and move an inch.
...

Don't be so sure of yourself
Unless you have been put to the test
and proved otherwise.
.
...

Long live the memories we made
Hail to the friendships we forged,
and a toast to those who stayed
even after they were wronged.
...

After many days of battle,
Someday along life's journey,
We'll pause for a while and
take a rest beneath the ground.
...

Though life be lived between birth and death
We hold it true that this world is not our home
But our assignment to do and do it well.
And we have no intention of leaving it undone.
...

We are free men with freedom of choice.
What we lack isn't the freedom of choice
but the wisdom of choice—the ability to discern
right from wrong on absolute terms and comprehend
...

Things that we prey on with straying feet
And consume with an intemperate appetite,
Rob us of place and peace;
Reducing us much lower than apes

The honor of bulls isn't in their horns or their skin colors
But in their strength, their frame, and diverse usefulness.
The ability to sire better calves, be gentle with others,
meet demands other than meat and still with a fearless face,
...

The ground quakes. The wind blows.
The sun scorches. The skies are gray.
Friends are far. Foes are near.
The heart is weary. But am still trusting.

I once asked someone if he'd attend
a program I knew he had been longing
to participate in ever since I knew him.
"I wish the answer was as easy as Yes or No."

The Lord is my Ebeneezer,
this far He has led and
helped me in every need,
This strengthens my confidence, I trust
...

Here, among these ruins once stood
the throne of dignity, honor, and respect;
full of glory, and flowing with abundance.
The hope of men. A force to reckon with-
...

Death! Death with its strong claws
makes no sound as it comes.
But with a precision of a sniper;
mindless of height and tide,
...

I once held the ultimate in my hands and vowed to protect it.
But for a moment, my arms grew cold and I neglected it.
So it gathered cold and died right in my hand asking why
I promised the ultimate and delivered the opposite.

Origin, Identity, morality, and Purpose
are key. Once lost or sold, a person has
very little to offer and nothing left to lose
...

Hearts faint when the storm rages,
Hopes sublimes when the veil of sense
hangs dark between God and men.

The Power Of One

The change we desire and all we'll ever see
Is ever one man away - Just one man away.
One man who knows the right way
And wills to lead others that way.
Or one man who is ignorant of the right way,
Diverts the compass and leads everyone astray.

There is no such a thing as a mass conception of an idea
Every idea is birthed by one mind, then sold to others.
And every institution is first founded by one brain
Before it recruits other players.
All the change, through one brain, to all men:
That's the immense power lying in each man.

But it's all a matter of choice.
You can either sit back and watch history evolves,
Or task your mind and hand to give a revolutionary push
in the making of a history that won't cause you to blush
And ease the yoke on some weary shoulders
All that's good and evil lies in your hands

The universe isn't your creation
But its condition is your making,
So never ask who is in charge
Or who that one-man away is, it's you.
Be the man. Show up and lead
- but lead not astray.
