Ologunde Joshua Abiodun Poems

To build a memorial
To survive the ophans
To see them
Sneezing-out happiness
...

This world is not our Home
Until we understand;
That we need not to get old before death knocks
While crossing this world
...

A fight out of the womb
A fight to walk
A fight to talk
A fight to learn
...

What happened?
Tell me; what happened?
Let my thinking be wrong
(with tears on mama's face)
...

I hear a voice, shriller than the normal tongue of men
As I held-up my left hands to clean my nose:
The fault is not our star, but our thought'
Telling of how replete and cruel the mind of men can be;
...

We'll sleep at night
And in the morrow;
Another spring day
A stranger was in our land?
...

Where do we Go; when hope runs-out?
When we're empty; when there's nothing left.
And we try to call somone by the window side
And lo! there was no one
...

Angels from the realm of Heaven
Shepherd(s) on the field watching
Brightened light moving
And abode on them and their sheeps
...

It's enough to drive a man crazy
It could break a man's faith
Could make Him wonder in lament:
If life still worth living
...

Oh! the time and times
My heart skipped with the fright
My chest was quickly pounding still
As the blade pierces the skin
...

His heart pounded against him
Standing still; he felt sweat in his hands
As he walk through the huge crowd
His hands shook
...

When am down and soul feels huge
When trouble shoot unknowingly
There're times
when we do not know where to go or whom to turn to;
...

The air that blows
Hurts the sounds to the leaves
Hearing to embrace the unknown spirit
Down the forest, still; it blows
...

Behold! what manner of love:
The Father have trusted upon Us
I Behold what manner of love;
The Father have trusted upon Us
...

Jaiio! the great shadow
that thinks wild and unperplex
Trying to figure it out
'Wind-filled bag' they think!
...

I am the sun
that shines from about like the sphere
I look down the heart of men
Wickedness became the speech of
...

In ancient past;
It was well spoken, well recorded
Of how many faithful of Jesus,
Died for the faith, without renounce
...

When I woke up
The other side of my bed was cold
My hands stretch out
Touching the rough and smooth
...

He left with Honor
He died at His Duty Post, serving the Lord!
My Legend...my Dad....
...

He left with Honor
He died at His Duty Post, serving the Lord!
My Legend...my Dad....

The Crying Dreamer

To build a memorial
To survive the ophans
To see them
Sneezing-out happiness
Moving and picking the less to move
along
Re-defining the face of special
being's
Not like the flower that rise in the
rain
And dies in the sun
The Legacy of the poor needs a
change The kind elite die a long time
ago
Who then will carry the cross
No food, no shelter, no clothing
They had no choice
Sleeping under the cold hands of the
night
Hardworking in suffering
They pay the price of hunger in tears
Life seems so empty
Souls in hard labour day-after-day
What a terrible world!
Where people suffer under the dark
shinning sun

The past still hold the print
The rich living without hoping to die,
While the poor dies before it's reality
Bringing a silent song of
bitterness, hardship and pain.

You can be the worlds' face
The reality of tomorrow
In building a better people
Investing in the heart of others
Paying the golden price
To untamed the beauty in others
To reduce their agitation
A dream to come
Dream to generosity for all
No matter the challenges
Humanity status and mission
Never change

Be the Honest,
Be the Voice,
Be the change to come.
To Build a Better Nation,
NIGERIA.
