Dark midnight clouds cover the light
In the distance the way seems so black
Motionless but yet continuing
The spring of time has fallen

Yellow and orange dancing together as the breeze increases their flame
The sound of crackling wood and the essence of apple wood floats into the midnight blue
I am taken far away from the daily cares and woes
My mind begins to drift and I am lost in a waltz of thought

Sitting below the maple tree
Listen to the melody of spring
Reading a chapter of love sonnets

From a small pup you have delighted my heart
You chewed things you never should have
But we made it through that stage
Rushing you to the vet
...

Feeling a deep sigh form from my soul
My heart close enough to heaven that
I could touch an angel’s wings
As I lay next to you
...

Hate and love tis a very fine line
One walked daily for some
By candlelight they dine
Then fight like ravens over the last crumb
...

No heart, no soul
The world owes you because you are who?

You have not the brains to know kindness if it bit you square up in the face.
