My ostensible smile
Just sensible guile
When I laugh as a fool
It's a lie the whole while
To abide by the precepts
And to follow the rules
Leaves in my mouth, oh such strong bitter bile.
Can anything not assuage the pain? And not exacerbate the strain?
Every day spent to dissemble and feign,
With surreptitious strong disdain, for what it is this life I own,

A deviant wretch, disobedient breath, my whole mind confiscated and I find myself stretched.
