Lips Of A Goddess Poem by Paty Harden

Lips Of A Goddess

Rating: 5.0

I thought to myself,
Could it truly be such?
That the maiden of past of which whom I've thought much,
She whose face had been cast
With an artisans touch,
Could be grasped once again like a tangible dream?

My mind would then trail
to a time yesteryear,
Cognition would fail just as soon she'd appear,
To approach would encroach on a thing of grand scheme,
Oh how is such loveliness possible dear?

Her statuesque face chiseled
with impeccable line,
an Ivory homage to what is divine,
Eyes clearly the Spies from Galactical Skies,
Through them could one find what is God realized?

Her presence a balm on this wound called the mind,
She implies there are things one cannot know Sublime,
The whole of what's Truth could be found given time,
Through the Lips of a Goddess earth's secrets you'll find!
