Young Yogi meditates on his position at the Ashram
Young Yogi received a special delivery from Afghanistan in the post
the parcel contained a set of sufi prayer beads and a picture with instructions from the sufi saint he had written to.
the instructions told him to practice daily a sufi meditation where he became just a ball of wax and to, without thought, let the heat of subtle body of the sufi saint, guide and manifest into his empty vessel, like a radio mast
gita 4: 17 the course of action is inscrutable
it all began when baba had removed him from the position of supervisor of the foreign students and gave him the task of looking after the latrines of the ashram
then on his beloved Radio he followed with amazement the news of lady di. how she had been deceived into open complaint about her position at the royal palace by a crafty Indian journalist which led to her life spinning out of control
the truth was she had it all. her life was fine and filled with privilege.
young yogi kept thinking about how just one duty that was a burden could spoil the many action in a life that was truly wonderful
lady di failed to count her blessings as the old song went, thought young yogi.
gita 4: 18 he who finds inaction in action, and action in inaction, he is the wise one among men
so if i say nothing about my feelings of hurt over my demotion, and just go through the motions of my obligation here at the ashram
and secretly become a soul transmitter station for the sufi saint Al Akbar in kabul
i will be free of waste thoughts and a performer of actionless action, as the Muslim holy saints puppet, thought young yogi
what a wonderful game to play in this place, the heart of hindu dharma
even if i'm only a being a pretend muslim, oh really religions are all illusions
i have a plan of action based on my interpretation of the gita, lets see how it plays out as a practical path of wisdom attainment
