परेमे हूँ जो आता हुँ,
जरा सा तूझे मिलने.
कोयी कामल नहीं हुँ मै,
सफ़ा सा सोरज का.
जसम-ए-दल तरसता हुँ,
मरा सा तूझे मिलने.

मैं प्रेमी हुँ. ईसलिए रोज मिलने चला आता हुँ. पर मेरे ईस रोज-रोज के मिलने से, कहीं ऊब ना गया हो तु. वैसे मैं कोयी दोषहीन नहीं हुँ, पर तुझेसे मिलने के लिए दिलों जान से तरसता रहता हुँ.
