I always use to think,
That you'd be my white knight,
But that went down the sink,
I wanted some one that would hold me tight.

But reality was that it would never be,
So i stayed your friend,
So that one day you will see,
That it could be a possibility.

So I opened up my heart,
I opened up my dreams,
And they all fell apart.

You were there when i needed you,
You didn't ever care what people said,
But when 'some one' came back,
That thought was dead.

I know you still care about me,
That i can see,
So for you i wish you happiness,
And the time to be free.

Even with everything that has happened,
I will always know that you will be there for me,
Whether good or bad,
With me you'll never get mad...

Maybe you were right bout us...
Were not meant to be at all.......!
