170 Days Poem by Jonathan Sud

170 Days

Foolish attempts were had,
To pull you away from him,
Yet they all failed,
Time and time again.

T'was a mental thought,
That you and I would be once more,
And even if so,
Happily together.

Must I torture myself,
With these tales of romance,
Knowing how they crush me,
Yet happy to remember us?

Insanity is the multiple attempt,
To solve a problem,
But the same way and method,
Meaning that I am indeed insane.
