Ongoing
A new fiesta
Fiesta of cheers
Worldwide
Over the years
Human beings
Used to learn
To make their own
Emotional
Comfort-zone
In stress and strain.

Although
On the surface
They wanted to relax
And feel better
Somewhere
Deep down inside
No wonder
Really if they wanted
To attain
A state of fitness
Quitting unnatural
Their living style
In an emotional cage.

Venturing
Onto new path
With new anxieties
Celebrating
All through this day
As World Yoga Day
Somehow
Resisting
Their conflicts
And challenges of life
To be fit and fine
Unclothing
Their tensions
And physical disorders.

Keeping
Tuned and alert
Just floating on
Letting go off
Stress and strain
Making
It a big deal
Being there
No substitute
For such a living.

Handling
Negative-positive
There and then
Feeling relaxed
And distress free
Light
Open and alive.
Stupefied
By the ecstasy
Balanced within
Rewriting the script
For a new chapter of life
So lovely so sweet
And meaningful.

Enjoying
In awareness
A long series of
Actions and reactions
Self-determination
Making terse efforts
Understanding
I in me a little try
To learn to live in bliss
Yoga's a real beauty
In all dimensions
Helps maintaining
A look
Look of youthfulness
In seventies.

Flowing
Free flow of an art
Art of living the life
Involving youngsters
Establishing
Their hearts in heads
And heads in hearts
Making hearts go
Go ‘dhak-dhak' again
Fitting
Into the modern life
Full of struggles
Making a romance
With self in itself
Spreading
India's message of yoga
Vedic cultural heritage
Now convened by Mr. Modi
And saint Swami Ramdev.

Today
Whole of the globe's
Taken to yoga
Enthusiastically
Some freedom seekers
Yet, have to warm up
To the practice
Or may have missed
Missed the mark
Of living
Holistic therapy boon.
