7.Fascination Poem by Jeff Law

7.Fascination

Fascination, I run the feelings through my mind, search for interpretation.
You don’t give anything away; the next time leads to more anticipation
Amazing this woman, the words all come too mind
I find it hard to fit them all on every single line

Does she want a poem? Is she romantic, filled with passion
How did this woman even talk to me, how did I make this happen
I think she has similar feelings, similar thoughts and a similar believing
Her looks, her smell, her body, her essence all are so appealing

A line, not mine, I hope you don’t decline this rhyme
Maybe the next time I’ll be yours and maybe you'll be mine
Although it’s from a song it’s not wrong
We could sit and talk together, laugh and sing along

You love to sing, to fight in the ring, a truly beautiful thing
What fun we'd have, you'd become the queen perfect for a king
You are a gorgeous petal, your reflection, only ready to picked by the gardener of your choice
So I make myself the best for your selection, and hope to hear the 'yes” from your voice

In me I hope that you are mesmerized, because in you I am fascinated
A wonder like you takes time, but the final piece of work is worth it, I hope you’re glad you waited
As you ponder your thoughts of fun with a stranger, possible thrills and possible danger
I’m the one before the dot; the others are just the remainder

I look at myself and think if I am good enough, and wait for your approval
If you need a friendly hand to help you move, then I am your removal
I feel it with us, and if it falls, nothing went too waste
I just want to keep you warm and for you to feel my gentle hands upon your waist

I’d brush back your hair, and slowly tease your cheek
My fingers slide upon your skin, past your nose to those lips that speak
You’d lose your breath, and gasp for air, but I would let you breathe
And there I’d be, smiling strong, now tell me now do you believe

The only thing I will tell you is, I am your genie, and now make your wish
I have made mine, and it was for me and you to ultimately be like this
Whatever you choose, remember I am a romantic fool
I would rather have you as a friend than not have you at all

To end this of, I will let you be yourself and I’ll be me
And maybe when time has told, we can go and be happily
I want to see you smile and laugh, so nothing major serious
The thought of you in my head has got me so delirious

Delicious, amazing, beautiful and sexy
All the things you have and more, you are my idea of ecstasy
So maybe when the dust has cleared and you know the choice that’s meant to be
You come out of the shell and feel the air, and come and sit right next to me
