891. Sands Of Time Poem by V F

891. Sands Of Time

a hummingbird in flight
beats its wings so fast
seems motionless

a clock
hours turns crawling
yet time simply flies

the ocean
deep, unending
grey, blue or green,
calm and soothing
mercilessly claims victims in its fury
yet bears teeming life

you, me and we
three words
two persons
a single lifetime
