937 Beauty - Nature Poem by V F

937 Beauty - Nature

Wake up my lamb
gently open your eyes
dont shut them
against the warm sunlight
that blazes forth
as rainbows in the mist..
feel the silken breeze
as it spills out of captivity
inhale the scent of the rose
that lives but for a day or two
drink in the beauty of the sunrise
master brush strokes unrivaled each time
see that new pink leaf
as it shines in its newness
the bright sparkle of the lowly dewdrop
as it proudly crowns the grass
compelling even an emperor
to stop and stare..
wake up and live dear one
revel in the beauty around
that no wealth can create or compare
