941 Ignorance Poem by V F

941 Ignorance

I know you will never come
you will never give me the happiness I yearn for
and why should you? when there is nothing I have to offer?
after all.. what do I have? That would draw you?
nothing.. a body of dust.. neither beautiful nor desirable
a mind full of confusion.. neither strong nor powerful
a heart full of love is no use to anyone
least of all to the one who never wanted it in the first place
wish I had never responded to you
wish I had never known you
I would have still been alive
blissfully ignorant of your existence
and continued to not know love
