960 A Walk

wandering through a forest
one day whilst exploring
a strange exciting land
I suddenly came upon a pond
set way deep inside…
with the sunlight filtering
through a thick canopy of trees
dappling its tranquil surface
so peaceful and still
I sat down under a tree
only to discover
how wrong I was…..
for though so still
the pond held many secrets
deep in its womb
so much went on beneath
unseen...
