A Baby's Stare Poem by Mary Krekamoo

A Baby's Stare

I get lost by just looking into your eyes,
A perfect blend of flare and glare
A mixture of innocence and brilliance glow
And am Lost in words to tell a tale
About the striking effect of your stare
A hypnotic gaze to my soul
Bewitching me beyond control
To fulfill every wish your heart desires
An iris of wilderness
Leaves me craving for more
To bend a little and cuddle you warm
Little smiles and red cheeks
Such a sparkle they light in your eyes
Like a moons glare in the lake
How you glitter when awake
Promises of a future still unfolding
A soul held in a brisk of time
A peek through the holiness of heaven
And glory with a bundle of joy
Such is the warmth your look portrays
The happiness my heart retains.
