A Balloon... A Lady... And A Moon Poem by Wael Karameh

A Balloon... A Lady... And A Moon

Rating: 2.5

Weak like a dry leaf visited by autumn
Circles of bad ideas squeezing my neck…
It is only yesterday you took that taxi and went…
Leaving me alone…against time…
Against the stream of love…
Against my self…like a man wreck…
As if it happened one decade now…
As if I should accept my end no matter how…
As if the storm of your hand smashed me…
And you are still asking me to pay you the check…
Ridiculous is life…
It has the shape of a knife…
We never learn that it is a heck! ! !
