My mouth says yes I need help
My mind says no you don't.
My mouth says I'll do whatever it takes
My mind says no you won't.

My mouth says I won't do it again
My mind says yes you will.
My mouth says I don't need it anymore
My mind says it will be here still.

My mouth says I'm almost there
My mind says there's a long way to go.
My mouth says I am strong enough
My mind says you're weaker then you know.

My mouth says I've got lots of support
My mind says they'll abandon you.
My mouth says I don't want to do it
My mind says yes you do.

My mouth cries I don't want to pick it back up
My mind says you don't want a cure.
My mouth begs for some relief
My mind says you're not so sure.

My mouth said I don't need help
My mind cries yes you do.
My mouth says I'm fine just like always
My mind says if only you knew.
