A Beautiful Friend. Poem by Juan Yeoh

A Beautiful Friend.

Rating: 5.0

Unforgettable smile burnt in my heart,
Worth millions more than any art,
Her tied-up fuzzy hair,
Decorating her lovely face,
Like a day’s fair,
Expressing the Sun’s Grace.

Her tanned blushing skin,
Full of warmth of my closest kin,
Styled with her unique taste,
Enchanting her by a thousand ways,
But little does she knows,
No Jewel could match her grace,
For Hu3y Sun’s Grace,
I would give away my trace.

But that’s not the real beauty of hers,
For her real beauty is not seen nor touched,
The real beauty of hers,
Is Felt.

For more than once in my life,
Torn by miseries n failures,
Ripped of faith, hope and love, without a cure,
Her warmth melted my frozen heart,
Guided by the purest kindness,
Caring without selflessness,
Gifted with compassion,
Forgiving all my foolish actions,
Treated my broken life with a little faith.

Just a little faith,
Ultimately changed my puny fate.
Just that little faith,
You never knew its Great.

Though, She’s everything I ever wanted,
Hoping everyday her will be changed,
Anguished by the very thought of her,
Never Have I regretted,
Keeping her, in my heart.

Yet, a promise I must and will keep.
Only thing she ever asked of me,
Unbreakable friendship.

How I wished things differ,
Undo my gifts please, Lucifer.
Exchanging for her love,
Yearning for just a glimpse of her.

Sanity is leaving me,
Undefined depth of admiration, adoration and devastation,
Never halt haunting me.

I know,

Long have I known,
Overwhelming feeling I should not have,
Vain in dreams I have,
Entangled by your beauty,

Ultimately cursed my soul for eternity.

Forgive my pity soul,
For a belief is all I own.

May This day be the day,
Inevitable fate in my way,
Saved in my deepest dearest memories,
Someone I Truly cherish,

You.
