A Beauty And The Beast Poem by Peyton Webb

A Beauty And The Beast

Pray for the weak & Pray for my soul
When Darkness comes the horrors unfold
A Girl howls to see the light
The Beast wins the girls last fight.

No one's safe when the night tolls
From the eyes black as coal
The Beast won't just have one
or two or three but more.

I have read all of your poetry but I think this is the best :) it has nice imagery with stanza coupling. All of your poetry has a up tempo rhythm. You're a good writer. You should always venture out and try different writing styles.
