A Betrayed Alone Moon Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

A Betrayed Alone Moon

A Betrayed Alone Moon
Floating tears of mine
Displayed betrayal of thine.

Pain trapped in dam of faith
Exploded breaking its own sheath.

You scattered my sweet dream
Turned my joy into painful scream.

Black clouds without any rain
Shadowed almighty Sun in vain.

Beyond limit, it is inexcusable
Now it's all over, indeed unbearable.

Sugar tounge with poisonous teeth
You sucked my blood like a leech.

This is why, the moon is always alone
Likes to stay away from grips of millions.

Ripples, you see above sea
These are tears of moon, you see.

Snowflakes are frozen tears
No one knows yet, who it bears.

The dew drenched rose still cries
As it notices moon trying to dry her eyes.
