A Blind Verdict Poem by MINA BOULEKOU

A Blind Verdict

You were found guilty
Condemned by the crowd
Due to a blind verdict
Without any remorse!

I lifted my voice courageously
Dare to defy you unwillingly
JUSTICE IS AWAKE
far away this world I belong too
beyond the horizon…

I raised my hands consciously
To YOU
I make a wish
Truth must prevail everything!
Every wound must be cleared!
Any bitterness must be erased!
Any treachery must be eliminated!

I walked down with you
to the valley of shadows
I grabbed you, strongly,
Ready to rescue you
As a savior to liberate you
Do not fear my reckless soul
Fate is with us! ! ! !
