A Book That You Never Wished To Read Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

A Book That You Never Wished To Read

A Book That You Never Wished To Read
No doubt, I am like a worthless book
That you never wished to read and look.
Each page of my life is open for you
I need not have to tell, who are you.

It is not wise to treat & misunderstand me
As a piece of broken mirror, useless to see
Indeed, me like a droplet of water particle
Retains power to reflect rainbow- circle.

You never tried to listen my heart beats
Its impulse will stop along with your cheat.
Touch me, read me and feel me to revive me
To avoid darkness, I am a candle, lit me.

Like an untold, unread and unsung song
Left alone, as there is something still wrong.
I expect you to compose melody for me
How each words inside me explodes, you see.

My song is waiting for your rhythmical melody
My heart beats wishes to harmonise with yours.
My lungs intend to inhale purfume of your breath
Me a book waiting for you, to feel me and read me.

me like a droplet of water particle Retains power to reflect rainbow- circle.... //.... What a beautiful metaphor to define a person of unfathomable worth. Thanks, Tulsi Shreshtha.
