It's both a gift and a sacrifice
People entrust to you their care
The frailty of humans isn't always fair
Compassion and empathy come natural for you
It's not just a paycheck; your passion is true
You listen, comfort and do all you can
Peoples lives forever changed by the touch of your hand
You work long, hard hours for your patients sake
When a soul is lost it makes your heart break
