A Change In The Menu Poem by Donal Mahoney

A Change In The Menu

In the paper this morning
a woman in the suburbs
complained she has to eat

too much steak too often
because her husband
wants it every night.

If one of them loses a job,
she might try some nice
neck bones instead.
