A Cherokee Beginning Poem by Joseph Blitch

A Cherokee Beginning

Radiating rays of his love out heavens door;
Continually twinkling praises to the Creator;
My mind was in astonishment as I gazed out;
From the archway of the Creators Sky Vault;
Bright star no longer in the heaven to twinkle;
Will be housed in a casing that would wrinkle;
This star spirit being encased in a fleshly body;
An enigma which at the least appears shoddy;
Life as a star spirit little recall there remains;
Safety with no worries, no tears and no pains;
Water covers most of that trivial globe below;
Might that downward voyage drift very slow;
Joint love turned to egotism and hate by devil;
A bad D turned live around backwards into evil;
This precise viewpoint left my mind in a wreck;
So many entities before me had made the trek;
To walk a hundred years upon proving ground;
In peace distributing the Creators love around;
Mystery keepers restoring to generation of old;
Preparing all below for His kingdom is the goal!
