A Child's Fantasy Poem by Okunola Peace

A Child's Fantasy

When the heavens are dark and cloudy
I will find purpose in the demon steel
I swing around to slay the unseen enemy
That might one day seek challenge and glory
In the fall of my great and mighty nation
And so, when the light of the murky moon
Fall gloriously like stars from the sky,
I will rise like a warrior in the night
And claim the mantle of truth and duty
And loose myself upon the world, mighty
And cunning in the art of pain and peril
For without the brave the innocent perishes.
