A Coal Black Girl Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

A Coal Black Girl

A coal black girl
Thinks she herself
A heroine,
A film actress,
A cine star
Poses she in
Such a way,
Whistles and hums
The songs

As because she is for
The first time
Reading in her house,
The first one to see
The light of education.
