A Connection Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

A Connection

Created from dust…
sparked by luminescence
Everything is connected
and pulled taut
with strings of things...
our likenesses
and differences together…
like it or not

With perceiving eyes
and ears that interpret
colors and sounds
Putting paints
on drying canvas
Singing a song
that makes
the heart pound...

In the evening
when stars ignite
gazers ponder
after completing tasks…
What is the reason
for existence
each corner
of the earth asks

Seek and find
the hidden key
to this curious quandary
There is a master plan...
take small steps
that lead to understanding;
away from the cave
where the journey began
