A Conservative's Prayer - Poem by C. J. Plunkett

May the gentle winds
bring in the new millennium
and a leader at the fore
With character as the guide,
not race nor creed
nor gender nor statistic;
Surely not a retread
of one whose legacy
is destined to be forevermore
The alleged anatomical enigma
of his significant characteristic.
