A Contrasting Salvation Poem by Santosh Misra

A Contrasting Salvation

A CONTRASTING SALVATION

When heaps of pernicious satire
Pierce the heart
It breaks, breaks and breaks to its dreg.
The corpulent appearance shrinks
And a shredded melancholia pullulate
To dictate the soul.

Oh! What a poisonous sarcasm it is
Enough is a pinch to spread the venom
Inthe sanctum of the mind
That kills gently till the end begins

An infinite patience
Also fails to filter the radiating
High voltage insolence
And sublimate the inbuilt temptations
To effectuate the end:
The silent beginning
Of a contrasting salvation
