Dreamed Castle Poem by Santosh Misra

Dreamed Castle

DREAMED CASTLE

Of course,
It is time that I re-assess myself
If I continue building my
Castle in dreams
When the dreams it selves are
Hazy and off the root.

No ambiguity exists
On my attempts having failed
For my poor expertise
To get my dreamed castles refrained
From Total destruction through the
time and tides.

I better not choose to lament
For reasons
Beyond my control.
My soul however does not agree,
Rather infuses into me
A burning desire
To muster efforts over again
For a trial refreshed and a wish
Unaltered.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dreams often reflects an unconscious state of mind. A castle in dreamsis also one unconscious perception. It is a fact that hopes make a man. Hopes induces dreams and in turn desire. Man continues striving for achieving his desires - the ultimate goal he fights for althrough the life.
