A Day In The Life Of A Teenager Poem by Siana Maurissa Mee

A Day In The Life Of A Teenager

Life's full of opposites, some more obvious than others,
From cats and dogs, ups and downs,
mums and dads, to sisters and brothers.
My life however, is not black and white,
It's not like the dark, contrasted with light.
There is no distinction, between what's right and what's wrong,
There is no difference between lost and belong.
My life is great, it's all about me,
This is a day from the depths of my memory.
A day so true, it's hard to express,
But one thing's foor sure, it's surely the best.
This is the day when i became me,
This is the day that altered my destiny.
It's early morning, on the school grounds,
Theres' no one in sight, nope, no one around.
Bored and alone, the feeling was sick,
But in that moment, i discovered music.
The sound of his voice, his voice was sereal,
'30 Seconds to Mars, the song was The Kill.'
That one song, developed my personality,
My dream of a rockstar, became my reality.
