We have burnt the Demon Ravana,
We have lighted candles for sure,
We have prayed for wealth alright,
Now lets heal our sores,
May the smiles of our loved ones be brighter than all lights at night,
May their hearts be sweeter than all the sweets kept aside,
May our luck be better than what it has ever been,
May love reach you again whether you are married or looking for your king or queen,
So dress yourself up with your cutest smile and wash your feelings clean,
My dear friends and family, this Diwali, be more human than what you have ever been.
