A Defeated Declaration Poem by Hikaru Etanaru

A Defeated Declaration

This lonely night
The harsh and cold rain
Reminds me of the fight
That not even god could tame
Its been far too long since
The feelings and memory have all but fade
But sill like a noble prince
I still await the price yet to be paid
I don't know why but,
I desperately await the time
When this distance between us is cut
And we stick together like marble and lime
The feeling and memorys i have
Which keep fading away
The heart of mine which was stabbed
Andin the wind i sway
Your words forever do remain
Forever and ever in my brain
Making my heart numb
Leaving this unbearable pain
I know I have been wrong
That I let you down
But the truth as sweet as a song
My love for you has and never will frown
If I could just go back in time
Fix my mistakes, just for a while
I shall commit the most unthinkable crime
To be with you, to see your smile
I know its too late
The pointless heartacheing lines
Maybe its just inevitable fate
Still I shall carve these words in time
Maybe one day you will come to realise
I never left your side
It was just a mismach in size
If only you saw from my eyes the say
I shall surely say all the you shall see
A face so beautiful, a heart so pure
A smile unattainable and complete free
Seeing it instant always cure
