A Demain Poem by Randy Resh

A Demain

A Demain

Beauty of brevity
you gave
pronounced most eloquently for
im-patrting

hummingbird dove
head
nestled beneath
silken wing sweep hush

...shhh...
shushing...

lightening

between us
less than little
before meeting

i draw tattered blister blinds
coarse raven covers over

to dream between
a sleep and
frightening nighting deep

...asleep
meet

resurrection resounding
sustains reach settling
