A Dose Of Confidence For The Snubbed Poem by Jackie Chou

A Dose Of Confidence For The Snubbed

Rating: 5.0

Somebody tells you your clothes are not up to par.
What do they mean?
You're a goddess and your mother owns a boutique.

They say you are ordinary,
But you walk with swag, talk with flair,
Know how to spell every word in the dictionary.

You're a combination of character and brains,
Success and humbleness,
Nobody to belittle.

Somebody's always telling somebody,
They're not good enough.
Don't let them mess with your self-esteem,
For you're the it girl, inside and out.
