A Face In My Dreams Poem by Boishakhi Mitro

A Face In My Dreams

The face disapears, suddenly,

unexpectedly.....

or may be the multitudes envelope it

seeking unconditional banishment....

No obligations remain,

no directionless quests.....

Similar fate awaits, every known face.

One by one they sank...

And then....

In the soul-stirring darkness

The illusive body closes in

On the carnal self

Even this face of mine

May find its dwelling

In a pair of eyes some day.......
