A Face Through A Window Poem by Along Bar

A Face Through A Window

Somewhere, some afternoons, I stay,
While she comes and steals away a cold heart;
But warms it with her breath, her smile
All these with a distance, but never a word

Somewhere, some evenings, I lay,
While loneliness comes along with her smile,
Soft winds whispers unclearly, says maybe,
She too thinks of me, once a while

Somewhere, this evening, I say,
While my heart too was not so sure, still I tried;
Maybe, but how's her smiling eyes now?
Sunny mornings might still give me a healing light
From the face through that window...
