A Fallen Star - Poem by mark anthony st. rose

When a star falls from sky,
And darkness temporarily wins
Over imperishable light,
And angels tears like diamonds flight
follows faithfully, steadily star's trail,
then in freedom's wings softly sail;
still somberness fills sweet harmonies,
And voices sing sad symphonies
To honour a great era,
Of an end and a new birth.
