Dear Love

If you ever feel like crying
take a deep breath and stop
with time you'll see how silly we were
and that there was nothing to cry for

world is full of broken legged horses
who like me try to run though they shouldn't have
we puff and huff but deep down we know
we could never finish that race

and when you see me led away
don't blink, walk calmly by
in love we need to learn when to stay
and when to say good bye
