A Feast Of Myself Poem by Amo Mokobane

A Feast Of Myself

My hands have a desire to cook, but
When I am alone,
I tend to be hungry, not just for food Though.
I starve for someone to talk to.
It never satiates,
Because it's not you.

I know what it tastes like to completely Give myself to someone.
My biggest fear is being abandoned.
When I look into your eyes, I am not Afraid.

I need to cook you up a feast of myself, Then feed it to you every day,
So you can tell me if I taste good.
If all you want to eat is me
If your mouth waters when you think About me.

I want you to be full of me
I want you to lick your lips and fingers Because
I'm
Just
That
Delicious.

I want to be your favorite meal.
I want you to steal little tastes of me From my burning pot because you Can't wait any longer.

I want to cook up a feast of myself,
Then feed it to you everyday
Because I want to be the only one that Can satisfy
Your hunger
Your passion
Your everything.

I starve for you everyday so I don't Want you to feel the same.
Its like a gaping hole
Feels like I haven't eaten in weeks.
I don't because I don't want anyone Else.

I
Want
You
To fill me up like only you can,
Just you.

I want to cook up a feast of myself and Feed it to you everyday so I can Explode in your mouth and ignite your Taste buds.
Set your body on fire with flavor.

I want you to always remember how
I taste,
How I smell,
How to chop me up and cook me real Well,
How to make me simmer and sizzle and stay warm for you.

I want to cook a feast of myself and Feed it to you everyday
So you know what love tastes like.
