A fence in the forest only lasts so long,
Traffic trapped in artificial lines,
Created by those who've never seen,
Never witnessed the glory of the road,
The true path that exists only outside the fence.
The forest is vast, unending, unknowing,
There will always be those who try to fence it in—
Never let them. Grow past the fence line. Encroach.
Show them why the forests are still at the center,
Of horror stories told around campfires and flashlights,
Whispered tales of shadows that dance,
In the flicker of flames, in the heart of the night.
For the forest, wild and untamed, will remind them,
That it cannot be contained, nor silenced, nor tamed,
Its roots run deep, far beneath the soil,
Beyond the reach of any fence, any toil.
And when the fences rot and fall,
The forest will stand tall,
A testament to the power of the wild,
A reminder that some things can never be filed.
So let the forest grow, let it thrive,
For in its depths, true freedom is alive.
And those who seek to cage it in,
Will find themselves lost, unable to begin.
