A Final Wish Poem by Austin Cargil

A Final Wish

Rating: 2.5

The life was fading fast
Trying to find something to grab
The pain was plain to see
The blood was like a sea
He blue eyes had gone cold
He was finally bold
He let his pain slip
And the pin clicked
The smoke cleared from the air
A bullet hole through his hair
His final wish was her to care
