A Flight Of Butterflies Poem by Saiom Shriver

A Flight Of Butterflies

Rating: 4.0

A flight of butterflies transform
and as azalea blooms alight
Soon they long for freedom
and in a scented wind take flight.

But it is that longing to take flight before they are ready that makes them so vulnerable. A caterpillars creepy crawling doesn't scare off the birds of prey. It's a struggle for living creatures large and small. Natures balance, with mouths to feed off of pure instinct.
