I was a fool to say goodbye….
A fool to say and live a lie…
When all the world
For me is you…
The one who makes my grey skies blue…

Goodbye... goodbye… it’ s just a lie...
For deep inside... I’ m gonna die…
I cannot even say goodnight….
This feeling strong I cannot fight…

Forget goodbye and let things flow…
My foolish mouth should say hello...
My beating heart will stay with you...
My mind, in love, calls only you…

So promise me that you will stay...
That you won’t go so far away...
I promise you I’ll wait, I’ll pray...
If not each hour, day after day...

It will be hard, I know but hey...
Its part of loving you all the way…
My smiles may fade, my skies be shade…
But that is nothing you can’t aid…

Say goodbye when I can’t even say goodnight...
Or walk away when I can barely take one plight...
You are my song... my poem... my light...
The one that matters through this life…

Remember this and keep in heart...
My lips may say a thousand ‘ bye’ s…
My love with you I’ ll never part…

Don’ t ask me how...
Don’ t ask me why…
For without you…
I’ d rather die…

Say goodbye when I can barely say goodnight...
