A Ghost Poem by Srijoni Chakraborty

A Ghost

Rating: 5.0

You haunt me more than I haunt you;
You have held on for too long;
And now you're waiting on that bridge;
A place we don't belong;
What you say I love you;
What is love to people without hearts?
I cannot love you now I'm gone;
I cannot play the part;
I will give you these last moments;
I will listen to your speech;
Then let me go, let me be free;
To wander out of reach;
