A Glimpse Of Childhood Poem by kalyan mech

A Glimpse Of Childhood

How moment passes by the window silently,
Neither day informs when he arrives
Nor night bids a good bye.
No sooner we indulge in a moment
Its plunge to a far end of the sky.

It is a talk of yesterday.
I was learning to propel forward
Holding my mother's pinkies,
From no where a gust
Pushed me into this midst of rallies.

Leaping jumping around the backyard
How time had flown by before my eyes-
The fights of sword with my shadow,
Mom's consoling words and lullabies.

The playful evening with muds,
Dad's unfunny jokes sitting beside our pond
And stories of Grandma beneath the Night jasmine.
At what stoppage i had left them all.

I am matured now and my pen too,
He doesn't want to draw
Those leaning curvy A, B, D and the past a bit.
But he wants to die upon muteness
And longs to draw on a blood shed sheet.

I feel to turn back at this very moment
And enjoy each and every senery at there.
But this cruel nature don't permit me.
These ripples flowing me away somewhere.

Embracing a hope tightly
I am flowing in these rallies
That at one curve i will meet
My Grandma sitting beneath a Night jasmine
Among new thrilling stories.

I will jump on her tender lap
And peep again at the moon with wonder eyes
Along with the fragrance of jasmine
Her sweet tales will lure a heart of mine.
